My grades from HKUST finally transferred over and it gave my GPA a much needed boost. I'm getting close to that elusive engineering 3.5+. Right now I feel like I'm sacrificing both a social life and enough sleep to get the grades. I hope the long nights and weekends spent studying and doing homework pay off. I talked to the HR representative from KPFF and a masters degree is preferred over a few years of work experience at an engineering firm. Grad school is no longer just an option for me, its required to get a job in this market. If I graduate with a with a 3.5+ I might have a chance at a top 10 civil/structural masters program.
