How I've been spending all my Saturdays. This balsa wood tower is result of many hours of cutting, gluing, clamping and waiting. This tower was used as a testing ground for some new construction techniques and will be tested on a shake table for accurate behavior predictions of the final tower. A second identical tower will be made for competition in Memphis in April.
