Seismic Outreach

Spent my Friday afternoon helping out with Seismic Outreach. We reach out to local 6th graders in the San Diego area and teach them about earthquakes to try to get them interested in becoming engineers. The kids build Knex towers and we test them on shake tables. It felt really great teaching and mentoring these kids even though it was only for a few hours.
